The Why?
Not all soap dishes are made the same. And a soap bar that sits in a puddle or isn’t allowed to dry properly will waste away. So using a properly designed soap saver dish will ensure there is minimal contact and maximum airflow to add extra life to your soap bars.
This soap saver is made of wood and will naturally start to degrade when it gets wet. You can prolong the life of this soap saver by retiring it from duty from time to time to allow it to dry out before using it again. But it will inevitably reach the end of its useful life and the best part is that wood is very easy to dispose of responsibly.
